Network Marketing Tips: 100% Auto-Marketing?

Ok so before I spend the weekend with Spongebob, at the Nickelodeon Hotel in Orlando, Here's a Quick Marketing Lesson before I go....

You're scouring the internet for a network marketing business opportunity. It's like one big ball of confusion. I can compare trying to find the right network marketing business opportunity on the internet, much like a blurry dream, walking aimlessly down a long lonely road, with a bunch of flashy bill boards trying to get your attention.

"Join My Business, you'll make a Gazillion dollars!" You scratch your head, and continue wandering. "Just Drive Traffic, and we'll Close your sales for you!", hmmm that sounds pretty tempting, but does it really work that way?

You continue to click, click, click yourself into oblivion and a sea of confusion. Which way do I go????

Hey, been there, done that. The question you should be asking yourself is, can marketing truly be 100% Automated? Is it truly something as simple as just sending traffic to my replicated site, and having my sales closed for me?

In relation to this, I must tell a quick little story. In my higher ticket, 2 tier affiliate bilingual program, there was a guy, who shall remain nameless. This guy bought into the opportunity because part of the claim was that all you had to do was drive traffic and the professional closers would close the sales for you. So Mr X went on to buy a bunch of "JUNK" traffic, from these traffic exchange places, and send random traffic to his replicated website.

Do I have to tell you how this went?

Needless to say, the guy was boiling mad and labeled the whole opportunity as a scam because he was naive enough to really think that the marketing process is fully automated. I was sitting at the sidelines watching him post disgruntled messages of hate and feelings of betrayal by the company because he couldn't land a sale, sending blind traffic to a replicated website where the ticket item was over $1200.

What is the lesson to be learned from Mr. X?

Marketing Systems can be fully automated but Marketing itself can't be.

Well, what's the difference you ask?

Simply put, a marketing system is what funnels people through, and then you backend other products, services or your main opportunity to them. While they are "travelling" through the marketing funnel, you are establishing and building relationships while also generating front end income through the sale of solution based products. Generally speaking, they will be products that teach people how to market and how to drive traffic to their sites.

This system can be automated simply because you are not necessarily building a team with the people who go through this funnel. This systems purpose is to

A. Generate front end income for the purpose of being able to continue to advertise, and

B. To provide training materials to people within or outside of your primary business.

If the outcome is that they eventually join your business, that's just icing on the cake!

When you are building a Team, you cannot expect to simply drive traffic to a website, have people closed, and never speak to them again. You must develop a relationship with them if you want to develop synergy within the team, and also inspire them to continue building the business. Many teams suffer from attrition, simply because there is no emotional connection in the team. If there is no emotional connection, people are more likely to quit.

So here are 3 Cruicial Network Marketing Tips: Things you should never automate in your business.

1. Lead Generation: You should be generating your own leads. Not doing this will multiply your workload. Buying leads is a shot in the dark. Make sure you have control of lead generation, period.

2. Prospecting: How you interact with your prospects will build the foundation of trust between you and your team. This is something you must nurture and grow yourself. Handing this off to someone else, could prove detrimental to the growth of your organization. (Trust me, I made this mistake once. You are essentially giving your power away to someone else, and then your team will either drop off, or roll up to them)

3. Your Marketing Training: As tempting as it is to outsource marketing training, make sure you do this yourself. You want to create that bond in your team, you want to be the expert, you want to be seen as the leader and you want to develop the tight knit relationships needed to hold your team together. Do NOT let anyone else do this. (Again, been there done that, my downline started to fall apart) TRAIN YOUR team yourself!!

Remember these things and don't let anyone brainwash you into believing that they can give you a quick fix to growing your business. In the long run, it will backfire and you jeopardize the growth of your team.

The "Biggest" Mistake New Networkers Make

There is no denying it, if you're in network marketing, or you are currently looking at it seriously as a way to generate more income, you're probably entertaining the following thoughts:

1. How much Will I get paid?

2. When will I get paid?

3. How about if it doesn't work?

Now of course, at first glance, these questions appear to be extremely logical and reasonable. But the "sponsoring" thoughts behind these questions is, is this going to be a "sure" or "secure thing". That's really what's behinds peoples thoughts. So when they get into network marketing and things don't start moving fast enough, (ie. I need my paycheck by Friday) they turn around and quit and start looking for another "Job", or other network opportunity hoping things will be different and claiming that they were scammed.

Think about it. I remember when I was working construction back in the day, when I was 19. I hated my first job, more like my boss, with a passion. Mind you, I was working inside in an interior contractors office, and that man was so mean to the employees, he just made me want to quit. But I desperately needed the money because I was already living on my own at the time, and on South Beach, none the less, and I had just bought my first car on my own. So there were alot of things hanging by a thread for me.

Needless to say, I got my "walking" papers right after I had bought my car and I was worried about what I was going to do. But as my luck would have it, another opportunity arose, and another Contractor ended up looking for me, hiring me and I ended up making even more money.

The point here, however is, that I had no cushion in the background. I couldn't fiddle around, I had to step it up and start networking so that I could get a job and get paid in time to make my next car payment and rent payment. Getting another Job, it was "secure". I would have never dreamed of starting a business under those circumstances because I needed to get paid, yesterday! (and most people join opportunities with that exact mindset!)

And if you back it up for a second, losing my first job, I didn't really see that coming. So it just goes to prove that "nothing" is secure, not even a job. Whether it's a job or a network marketing opportunity, nothing in life is secure.

The only security there is, is in your Actions.

You can be certain that if you continue to take proactive actions towards your network marketing business, something is bound to flourish, the catch is, it won't happen in your time, or by "friday".

Too many people enter this industry with an "employee" mentality. And who can blame them. They are only looking for what they already know and feel comfortable with.

Think about it, haven't you ever had a friend, who, no matter how many times he or she had a bad experience with a certain type of mate, they end up dating the same kind of person over and over again??

It's because we are creatures of habit, and we are looking for predictability and security, it's in our nature.

So if you are considering a network marketing opportunity, see it for what it is. It is an "opportunity" (a good position, chance, or prospect, as for advancement or success) Nothing in the definition of opportunity says, guaranteed.

It is completely up to you.

To better your odds, align yourself with the people who are already in the industry, building their businesses, and can help you shave off time to your learning curve. That way you will get to where you want to go much much faster.

And one more thing, the beauty of network marketing, is that, unlike a job, you will get paid exponentially for your efforts. Potentially there, is no ceiling on your income. This is one of the only industries where average people can replace their yearly incomes in only a months time. So don't be afraid to get in the game, just change your perspective on it!

Generating Free MLM/Network Marketing Leads: Easier To do than you Think

My MLM & Network Marketing Friends, if you are still frustrated because you are still inside the "traditional" bubble of network marketing that tells you to make a list of family and friends to pitch your opportunity to, or have gone through yet another round of "Garbage" dead-end leads, this article contains information that will completely open a new door of opportunity for you, and change your perspective on marketing altogether. You will even begin to enjoy growing your business again. In the next few paragraphs you will have a paradigm shift in the way you market, and you're going to ask yourself, "why didn't I know about this before?"

You can easily generate FREE LEADS that are Interested in your products without you having to cold call, buy your way into the top levels of your organization, or harrass your friends and family.

There are FREE methods and paid methods, and if you use both at the same time, you will end up generating more leads than you know what to do with.

Here are 6 Different ways to start generating qualified recruiting leads for your MLM & Network Marketing business within the next 72 hours. So get ready and take notes.

1. Social Networking. There are several social networking sites like Myspace, Facebook and LinkedIn just to name a few. The purpose behind setting up a profile in a social network site is to network with people who may be interested in your business. A good place to start would be to search for friends who have common interests as you do. You can do this by conducting a search right on MySpace. You can enter words such as "Athletic" "Weight Loss" or target groups who may have a genuine interest in the products you have to offer, such as "stay at home moms" or "dieticians" for example. The key is to find the people who are already buying the same or similar products that you are selling, and to place yourself right in front of them. But don't go in there and start pitching your product because that is a big NO-NO in Social Networking. The idea is to network and start building relationships on these sites, and place your links strategically so that people passively click on your links to your site as they get to know you better. Also keep in mind, just because people don't join your business, doesn't mean they are not valuable. You just never know what those networking relationships can evolve into.

2. Article Marketing. Article Marketing is very powerful. Although it can be a time consuming task, once your content is out there. It becomes viral, and it will continue to work for you 24/7 365 days a week. Simply write articles that have to do with your products, and the benefits, or case studies or personal stories about what your products have done for you or other people. Make it "keyword" rich, and you are as good as gold.

3. Video Marketing: There is nothing more powerful than video marketing, in my personal opinion. But you must take a conservative approach to doing it. In other words, you can't just go out there and start pitching people on video. You must offer VALUE by way of information or coaching and training, and then include links in the description of your videos for people to contact you.

4. Pay Per Click Advertising: Want instant Results? Pay Per click advertising is surely the way to go. But doing it the wrong way can be DISASTROUS. I personally lost $500 in less than two weeks when I first tried it. Thanks to educating myself and learning from some of the most influential marketers on the internet, pay per click is no longer an issue for me, as a matter of fact, it has been profitable. But you have to know what you're doing. Do it right, and you can get instant results and red hot leads for your MLM & Network Marketing Business.

5. Forum Marketing - Forum Marketing is so laser targeted, that this is a bonafide way to generate free leads and traffic to your site. This is as simple as finding a forum that is geared towards your niche, which could be health or weight loss, for example, and start posting away. Get involved in the conversation. Add Valuable info to the forum. Don't just chime in for the sake of getting notice. Really add value, and then you can post links to your website. People are nosey, and you can bet they will click on them.

6. Twitter: This one falls under Social Networking, but it is so incredibly powerful that I placed it in it's own category. Twitter is what is called a "Micro-Blogging" site. It's a Micro-Blog because you are only allowed to write up to 140 characters per post. So you have to make it short, to the point, and make sure it's either valuable, or make it a little personal. Why? Because the internet's very nature, breeds suspicion. People want to know they are doing business with a "real person" and not a scammer. So updating with some personal stuff gives your potential lead or others some insight into your life and who you are and inspires trust. This is super important. Make sure to add a personal photo of yourself and not your company logo. People want to do business with people not their company.

Keep this in mind, my MLM & Network Marketing friend, that when you purchase leads, they are more than likely "Generic Biz Op" Leads. They are not necessarily interested in any particular business and are more than likely just shopping around for information. Why spend $1-$5 or more on someone who may not even have any interest in the nutritional field whatsoever!
